The Kansas City Monarchs in Our Home Town

The award-winning baseball author Phil S. Dixon will be giving his Power Point presentation on Monarchs playing ball in Pawnee City during the 1920’s. He is going to visit 108 cities with the presentation, which focuses on the team playing in different cities and how they connected to the communities. It is a blend of sports and the arts.

He will be in Pawnee City at the Union Bank basement on June 17 at 1:30 p.m. After his presentation, the Pawnee City Museum will host tours and scavenger hunts for adults and children. There will be prizes for the scavenger hunts. This event is free and issponsored by the Pawnee City Historical Society and Museum.
